Peggy has over 34 years of design experience and training in both residential and commercial design. She would say she has always been a designer..."as a young child I was constructing furnished apartment buildings with shoe boxes and found objects that would accomplish my vision."

AYCA STIFFEL
Senior Interior Designer
Ayca graduated from The University of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and a minor in Art History. She has over 30 years of experience in residential, retail, commercial, and corporate office design.

Ayca's appreciation and passion for design and architecture developed as she spent her youth living in seven different countries on four continents. In her work, she thoughtfully creates interiors that uniquely reflect the client's personality and translates their vision into a reality.

ASHTON JOSEPH
Senior Interior Designer
Ashton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Sam Houston State University. She began her career immediately upon her graduation from college as an intern here at By Design Interiors, and is now a Senior Interior Designer.

With her vivacious personality, passion for design, and fresh eye for detail; Ashton captures the personal style of her clients. She utilizes her extensive travel experience, love of materials, and textures to generate one-of-a-kind designs. Ashton specializes in both residential and commercial projects with a deep commitment to outstanding customer service.

JESSICA L. SALINAS
Lead Interior Designer
Jessica comes to BDI after 8 years in hospitality & commercial design. This valuable experience pairs with her creative eye for tailored and sophisticated interiors, with playful touches of color and pattern.
She believes that your environment should always bring you joy, and is her driving passion behind every design for her clients.

Jessica graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design. When Jessica is not designing stunning spaces, she is hanging out with her husband, kids, and 2 rescue cats...Chandler & Boogie!

AMY TERRY ERVIN
Lead Interior Designer
Since her youth, Amy has had a passion for all things art, architecture, and interior design. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin, with a minor in Fine Arts.
After 14+ years in technical engineering she decided it was time to shift careers to follow her passion and love for design. Thus, she later earned an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Houston Community College.

Amy's many years in the engineering field help develop her keen eye for detail. She believes that precision, when paired with natural creativity, make for stunning interiors. Moreover, spaces should not only be functional, but also well-reflect the people who live in them. Her ultimate goal is to bring artful and thoughtful design to every project.
